Yes…a birthday by any other year would still smell as sweet, or would still be as much fun as any. But this tickled us fancier as we are crazy fans of Hello Kitty which seemed to have transitioned from our childhood to the girl’s childhoods of now. It was at a private location and so we didn’t have much room to create spaces, instead we had to work with whatever space we were given. Balloon art flanking either side of the entrance way into another balloon arc behind the kids’ table and the jumper. We also had balloon centerpieces on coordinated tables and chairs, Sanrio headpieces, favors, and prizes. A layered pink and Hello Kitty dessert table, and a life size Hello Kitty guarded the table that had our plates, utensils, and our famous sangria. We had our own DJ system in place and party did not stop ’til the wee hours of the morning. Of course, the kids enjoyed during the day with their games, the pinatas (two to be exact), and cutting of the three Hello Kitty cakes (Porto’s Chocolate mousse, Red Ribbon’s mango and red velvet). The adults had their dance floor and dance moves ready after hours. It was quite the excitement and the sleepless night prior was well worth it. Hello Kitty indeed.
